Crushing Lines
It is obtained by crushing barley softened with steam, passing it between rollers.
Thus, the surface area of the grain increases and the digestibility of the starch in it becomes easier by gelatinizing. Since increasing digestibility increases the amount of energy taken from the feed, the productivity of dairy cows increases.Process consists of 5 stages; Pre-cleaning, steaming, crushing, cooling and packaging.
1-) Pre-cleaning: During the cleaning and sieving process, foreign objects are removed from the raw material. In this way, clean raw material is ensured into the process.
2-) Steaming: Raw material is annealed with steam depending on temperature, time and humidity parameters. A special steam distribution system directs the saturated steam to the product through several spots and distribute it evenly. Increasing the humidity facilitates the gelatinization of the grain during crushing.
3-) Crushing: Barley softened in the steam tower is then passed through the roller mill and turned into hot barley feed. Thanks to the large diameter rollers in the crushing machine, gelatinization of the grain becomes easier.
4-) Cooling: The product out from the crushing machine is cooled to ambient temperature. Thanks to the distributor system in the cooler inlet, a homogeneous distribution and product height is provided inside the machine. In this way, the product is provided to cool equally at every point.
5-) Packaging: Product is packaged in feed bags that can be adjusted between 25-50 kg. Desired reporting can be obtained with the PLC automation system used.
